LET’S MAKE SOMETHING GREAT!
We are so appreciative of the donations we have received so far which for the most part was from a GoFundMe and a fund started by a local teenager a few days after Scotty’s passing.
We are humbled by every cent raised to date. However, we still have a long way to go to make this park a reality! Depending on the size of the park and where we can build, the Scotty Lapp Foundation will need to raise somewhere between $750,000 to $1,000,000.
The loss of our son was unbearable but our Tahoe and Marin communities have surrounded us with love, strength and compassion. We are so blessed to be supported by our friends, family and those we have yet to meet. Thank you for your support of our family and our efforts to build a community skatepark that will help us all to remember Scotty and create a place for all to come together and support one another in the love of their sport.
